Verdacity founder Kris Callori was honored today as a One Albuquerque Award recipient by the City of Albuquerque and Mayor Tim Keller. In his speech, Mayor Keller acknowledged Kris as an "Invaluable advocate for environmental design," and cited her "Commitment to building a better, greener future for Albuquerque" as just one aspect of her award nomination. "We're especially grateful for her stamp of LEED Certification that we see all over the City."
There is so much to be proud of here, in Albuquerque, and I'm really proud to be part of that story.
Over the past 30 years, Kris has built a national reputation for sustainable design that puts the health of humans and local ecosystems at the forefront of the built environment. Accepting the award, Kris mentioned the hundreds of projects Verdacity has worked on locally, including the City of Albuquerque's own LEED for Cities Silver certification and the award-winning Sandia National Labs LEED Campus certification project. "There is so much to be proud of here, in Albuquerque, and I'm really proud to be part of that story," she said.
