Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) has a new LEED Gold Certified addition to the campus!
The 17,000sf Automotive Technology Center (ATC) is a state-of-the-art facility supporting students with the latest in computerized diagnostic equipment and electric vehicle maintenance capabilities.
Along with an intensive site selection process that focused on habitat preservation, optimal solar orientation, and rainwater mitigation, the ATC boasts:
a 92% reduction of outdoor water use,
a 44% reduction of indoor water use,
an energy use reduction of 32%, and
50% of all construction waste recycled.
